The Pozo Azul (blue well) is as its name says a mysterious blue colored lagoon bordered with dense vegetation, typical of the place: cedars, laurels, guamos, yagrumos, helechos machos and bromelias.

Nobody knows the origin of the intensity of this blue color. The water is crystal clear but the people of Calderas do not swim in it as they are frightened by the color the absence of submarine life.

The peace of the place is only troubled by the noise of a small waterfall hidden by the exuberant vegetation that surrounds the lagoon.
